Convert Your Tax Dollars Into Scholarship Dollars through the Scholarship Granting Organization.
Ohio has a unique program that provides a tax credit for those who support scholarship funding for private schools. This program (SGO /OAIS) is incredibly simple to take part in, and it makes a huge impact in helping us at the Columbus Jewish Day School provide education for any student who wants to attend.
As long as your tax liability is equal to or greater than the donation, you receive the full amount back. This is NOT a charitable donation.
Anyone (relatives, friends or family) who pays income tax to the State of Ohio are eligible. The donation maximum is $750/individual and $1,500/couple filing jointly per year. Contributions for 2025 may be made until you file your 2025 tax return**.

Complete your donation online by credit card, ACH or check.
Your tax credit letter will be available after your transaction is processed under my donations in your account online.
**PLEASE NOTE Donations made via ACH transfer or paper check must be registered by 4/2/26 in order to allow time for processing to claim a 2025 tax credit. Donations made after 4/2/26 are not guaranteed to be processed in time for the filing of 2025 taxes.
